Hitz Sarawak finalists introduce SugarBun’s ‘New Wholemeal Chicken Burger’

KUCHING, Oct 2: SugarBun introduces the ‘New Wholemeal Chicken Burger’, which is being promoted as a healthier and tastier upgrade from their classic chicken burger.

The new offering is made of battered chicken patty, cured cucumber and signature salad cream sandwiched between a toasted wholemeal bun.

The campaign to promote this burger was launched by six finalists of Hitz Sarawak. They were recruited by SugarBun under an arrangement with Hitz Sarawak to find the next Hitz Announcer.

Under this recruitment initiative, the candidates have to undergo an ‘art of persuasion’ contest, where they have to sell as many SugarBun Wholemeal Chicken Burgers to patrons of The Spring Shopping Mall Kuching in less than 10 minutes.

Several more challenges await the candidates, where a candidate will be eliminated in each round of the challenges lined up. The overall winner of the contest will be rewarded with RM3,000 cash, a contract with Hitz Sarawak, and be the first SugarBun ambassador.

SugarBun’s new Wholemeal Chicken Burger is now available as an ala carte meal and is priced at RM6. For a special combo deal with french fries and Nestle’s Mango Peach Sjora, the price is RM9.90.
