KUCHING, June 27: A father and son were tragically killed in a four-vehicle chain collision along Jalan Taman Seniawan in Bau.
The victims, identified as Atong Nebok, 64, and Wilson Atong, 36, were traveling in a Perodua Kancil when the accident occurred.
Both victims were pinned inside their vehicle and were later confirmed dead at the scene by medical personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
Other individuals involved in the incident sustained minor injuries and were transported to Bau Hospital for medical treatment.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations center, they received a call regarding the incident at 2.54pm and promptly deployed a team from Bomba Bau.
The operation commander confirmed that the collision involved a Perodua Kancil, a lorry, a van, and a sedan car. — DayakDaily
