Minister Nancy Shukri warns of fake accounts offering welfare support under her name

    KUCHING: Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Dato Sri Nancy Shukri warned of fake social media accounts impersonating her and offering fraudulent financial support.

    She emphasised that these irresponsible individuals are misusing her name, Hajah Nancy Haji Shukri, on social media for malicious purposes.

    Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Dato Sri Nancy Shukri’s official accounts are verified.

    “They are trying to deceive the public through various scams.

    “I urge the public to always be vigilant and not be deceived by their actions. For your information, all official matters and announcements from me will only be made through my official verified account that has the official blue tick,” she said in a post on her official Facebook page.

    Nancy Shukri also urged those who have encountered such fake accounts to report them immediately.

    She reminded members of the public to always verify the authenticity of accounts and exercise caution when engaging with unsolicited messages. – DayakDaily
