KUCHING, Aug 25: Sibu District Police Chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit revealed that the rider whose motorcycle was kicked down by a traffic police personnel during a spot check at Jalan Temple here was found to have committed multiple traffic infringements.

The traffic policeman had kicked the motorcycle after the motorcyclist made an illegal U-turn to evade the spot check at 12.15pm earlier today. The incident was recorded and the video has gone viral on social media.

“The motorcyclist who attempted to escape the snap check by making an illegal U-turn brought danger to the other road users.
