KUCHING, Nov 10: The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) which is being implemented at Kg Haji Baki is extended by one more week to November 17.
This was the latest decision made by the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).
SDMC in a press statement today said a total of 392 residents at Kg Haji Baki had yet to undergo the second Covid-19 screening.
As such the committee decided that the current EMCO which was implemented at the village from October 28 until November 11 be extended for another week to November 17.
SDMC revealed that a total of 2,872 sample have been taken for the second Covid-19 swab test from November 4 until 9.
The committee noted that out of that sample, two residents were tested positive for Covid-19, 2,422 residents were tested negative while 448 samples were awaiting laboratory test results. — DayakDaily
