KUCHING, July 14: Kampung Jagoi Duyoh in Bau, rented rooms above Kedai Famous Nasi Bandar Corner in Sarikei and Lempaong Baru in Betong are being placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) starting at various dates.
For Kampung Jagoi Duyoh, due to the emergency of a new Covid-19 cluster where 22 of the villagers have been tested positive, the village has been placed under total lockdown, effective tomorrow until July 28.
For the tenants of the rented rooms above Kedai Famous Nasi Bandar Corner in Sarikei, the EMCO has started yesterday and will end on July 26.
Like Kampung Jagoi Duyoh, Lempaong Baru in Betong will undergo lockdown from tomorrow (July 15) until July 28.
While three more were added to the list of localities placed under EMCO, there are also those where EMCO restrictions were lifted.
These localities include Rumah Jerome in Sungai Kesa and Rumah Jumbun in Simpang Kok. Both longhouses are situated in Sarikei.
The EMCO for Rumah Mary, Batu 3 Jalan KJD in Bintangor is also lifted today.
In Saratok, the residents of Rumah Milai in Emplaie Ili, Rumah Mang in Sungai Wong and Rumah Chaggie in Sungai Berayang; both in Roban, are now free from the strict movement restrictions brought about by the EMCO. — DayakDaily
