KUCHING, March 22: Minister for Local Government and Housing Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian’s elder brother Richard Sim Kui Hock passed away at Timberland Medical Centre here due to an illness this morning.
Richard, 72, left behind his wife and two children.
The wake service of Richard will be held at Sekama Road, here.
According to sources, Richard was a former Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Pending branch treasurer and was actively involved in many Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) activities.
