KUCHING, Jan 26: Kuching drivers with overdue parking compounds can now rejoice as Kuching City North Commission (DBKU) will be giving discounts on all parking compounds over this weekend.
Beginning today, compounds paid between Jan 26 till Feb 11 will be given 50 per cent discount. From Feb 12 till Feb 18, the discount rate will be at 30 per cent and from Feb 19 till Feb 25 when the offer ends, the discount rate will be 20 per cent.
Payment may also be made at DBKU’s Satok counter, any DBKU Mobile Counter within its jurisdiction, and at Medan Niaga Satok on weekends.
The offer is in conjunction with the commission’s Majlis Agenda DBKU 2018 (MA2018) event, held from today till Sunday, Jan 28, 2018 at the Square Tower, Kuching Waterfront.
Soft-launched by DBKU Datuk Bandar Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap Abang Julai earlier this morning, MA2018 also will see several booths set up by various government agencies including a mini UTC, such as Road Transport Department (JPJ) and the police, as well as tourism and other industry players offering services and showcasing their products.
Members of the public wanting to do errands at the UTC can also come to the MA2018 to the Mini UTC booth over the weekend. — DayakDaily
