KUCHING, June 13: Twenty individuals have been shortlisted for DayakDaily’s ‘Gastronomy and I: My Favourite Dish’ writing competition.

Out of 266 entries, 10 candidates from the Adult Category have shone brightly among 170 submissions, while 10 candidates from the Youth Category have stood out among 96 submissions.

The prize-giving ceremony will take place at Imperial Hotel, Kuching on July 6 (Saturday) from 10am to 1pm.

All the shortlisted participants will be invited to the prize-giving ceremony, where the winners will be announced on the spot.

The writing competition was open to Sarawakians aged 12 and above.

Participants were required to write a short essay with a maximum of 500 words and at least two original photos about their favourite Sarawakian dish.

All winning articles will also be published on DayakDaily.com and DayakDaily’s other social media platforms.
