Construction worker killed in fatal accident in Sibu

SIBU, Sept 13: An Indonesian construction worker died after he was hit by a car at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman on Saturday night.

The victim has been identified as a worker of a company in Kuching.

The accident took place at 9.15pm last night.

Sibu district police chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the victim was hit by a car driven by a 30-year old housewife.

Stanley said he died on the spot.-DayakDaily
