KUCHING. June 19: A construction site store caught fire at Jalan Tun Hussein Onn, MJC Batu Kawa area on Friday morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was immediately alerted of the fire which happened at 4.02 am.
According to the Bomba report, the operation to put out the fire faced some obstacles as the fire hydrant was far from the fire scene.
A water tank truck was deployed to the scene and the fire was successfully extinguished.
The woods and the boards kept in the store were used to build a drainage system near to the construction site.
No one was reported to be injured in the fire. —DayakDaily
