KUCHING, Jan 31: An eight-year-old boy and a 40-year-old woman were injured after the car they travelling in got involved in a collision at Jalan Ellis here today.
Fire and Rescue Department personnel rushed to the scene, which was at a traffic light junction at Jalan Ellis, after receiving a distress call at 6.51am.
“The incident involved a compact multipurpose vehicle (MPV) and a sedan. Firefighters proceeded to rescue the injured victims from their vehicles, while the driver of the sedan car was unharmed,” the department said in a statement.
Both victims were sent to the hospital using the department’s Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) for further treatment. — DayakDaily
