KUCHING, Oct 13: All 20 passengers, which includes 11 school children, are safe after their boat sank near Pengkalan Balam in Kampung Beradek today.
Kuching police chief ASP Ahsmon Bajah confirmed the matter following the incident, which occurred at around 6am today.
“Police have confirmed that all passengers are safe,” he said in a statement today.
He also advised members of the public not to speculate on the incident.
The boat was carrying 20 passengers, including 11 school children and six motorcycles when it sank. — DayakDaily
