KUCHING, March 25: A 29-year-old motorcycle rider has been killed after crashing into a car at the Temudok flyover, Jalan Sri Aman-Serian last night (March 24).
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sri Aman Station, the victim sustained severe injuries to his head and was unconscious at the scene.
He was pronounced dead by paramedics who attended to him at the scene of the accident.
The Bomba Sri Aman operation centre said they received an emergency call regarding the accident at around 9.42pm and rushed to the scene, which was only four kilometres away.
It was reported that the collision involved a Yamaha motorcycle and a Perodua Bezza vehicle, with the driver of the car reported to be safe and only experienced minor injuries.
The body of the victim was handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
