LAWAS, Nov 8:  Fifteen individuals, including seven women, were compounded for violating the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) regulations in Lawas district yesterday (Nov 7).

According to Lawas District police chief DSP Roslan Leman, these RMCO violators, aged between 18 to 62 years, were compounded during an operation carried out on premises within Lawas.

“Most of them were workers and customers at the premises and compounds were issued for failing to register their name via online applications or record them in a book,” he said.

All compounds by the police were issued under the Regulations 10 (No. 8) of the Prevention and Control of Infection Diseases (Measures Within the Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2020. — DayakDaily
