KUCHING, Nov 30: Police have detained 14-year-old girl in relation to a newborn who was abandoned in Bandar Baru Samariang.
Kuching District Police Chief ACP Ashmon Bajah in a statement said the suspect was detained at 8pm yesterday (Nov 29).
On Nov 29, an abandoned newborn with an umbilical cord still attached was discovered in a housing area in Bandar Baru Samariang.
The case is being investigate under Section 317 of the Penal Code. — DayakDaily
