LIMBANG, July 24: Construction work for a multipurpose hall for Kampung Penganan here has resumed but the project completion deadline has to be pushed back following the Movement Control Order (MCO).

Batu Danau assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang revealed that the deadline for project completion has been rescheduled as construction work was delayed three months due to MCO.

“The project is now 40 per cent completed and the contractor is now carrying out the remaining works to ensure it can be completed as scheduled.

“I am satisfied with the progress and implementation of the project even though it has been delayed for a while due to Covid-19,” he told Ukas after visiting and inspecting the project site on Tuesday (July 21).

Paulus also visited the project site of a multipurpose hall for Kampung Semabat which is also still under construction.
