KUCHING, March 23: Two families were affected after a wooden house located at Sungai Sibau, Sarikei was razed by fire just after midnight earlier today.
The incident was discovered by the public around midnight and a Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) team was immediately despatched to the scene.
Upon reaching the scene, firefighters immediately began efforts to put out the fire. Despite their efforts, the house was destroyed completely. It was reported no one was in the house when the incident occurred.
The operation ended around 2am and the Bomba team returned to their station after ensuring it was safe at the scene. — DayakDaily
