KUCHING, Feb 22: The water supply disruption in Limbang, especially in all Tedungan areas which was caused by pipe leaks, has been fully restored and stabilised following the completion of repair works.
Laku Management Sdn Bhd, in a press statement yesterday (Feb 21), assured that its staff will continue to monitor the situation to ensure consistently stability and reliability of the water supply across all areas.
Throughout the disruption period since Feb 13, Laku in collaboration with Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) has distributed a total of 425,000 litres of treated water in 79 trips, along with 1,264 boxes of bottled drinking water to resident in the affected areas.
With the restoration of water supply, all water tankers and water pick-up point will cease operations in the all affected areas.
Laku advised consumers to rely on official sources for accurate updates and to disregard unverified information.
