KUCHING, Oct 1: The Sarawak Integrity and Ombudsman Unit (Union) inviting both State and Federal civil servants, as well as Malaysians in general to take part in its two-month ‘digital’ Integrity Run 2021.
According to Union in a statement today, the run is held in conjunction with the ‘Bulan Inovasi Perkhidmatan Awam Negeri Sarawak 2021’, and was flagged-off by Minister in Chief Minister’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Talib Zulpilip, during a symbolic ceremony held at Baitulmakmur Building in Petra Jaya today.
“Those who wish to take part in the event can register themselves by downloading the JomRun mobile app on their smartphones.
“The programme will be running for 2 month starting from Oct 1, until Nov 30. During that period, participants can start either by running or walking, and the distance must be recorded in the JomRun app,” it said.
Union noted, there are three categories, namely the 5km, 10km and 21km categories, and registration entries are still open.
It added that about 3,000 participants are expected to join the run, which is aim to create awareness and cultivate the value of integrity. — DayakDaily
