KUCHING, Dec 19: Two teenagers suspected to belong to the Abon gang have been further remanded by police until December 24, 2019.
They were brought to the Magistrate’s Court here today to apply for further remand to help police investigations.
The suspects aged 16 and 17 were arrested on December 11, and initially remanded for seven days.
They are suspected to be members of the Abon robbery gang which was involved in robbing a 24-hour store at Jalan Sultan Tengah.
The gang got its name from the nickname of the gang’s leader. The police are hunting for five other gang members. — DayakDaily
