KUCHING, Mar 27: The Royal Malaysian Air Force (TUDM) today delivered a total of 375 blood packs together with clinical specimens from the Ministry of Health facilities to be used by hospitals in both Sarawak and Sabah.

TUDM in a statement today said the items were flown to both states in a Hercules-C130 from Subang Air Base at 11 am today, by flight Captain Shahril Amin Dzulkefli, together with five other crew members.

“With this delivery, it shows TUDM’s concern and commitment in discharging its social responsibility and as a proof that TUDM are always ready to deploy its assets when needed,” it said.

It was also noted that TUDM will continue to provide the assistance and support needed to the government in their efforts of addressing the Covid-19 pandemic.

TUDM also called for Malaysians to exercise their individual responsibilities by complying to the Movement Control Order (MCO) that is being enforced by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) and the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) in order to break the pandemic chain. —DayakDaily.
