KUCHING, April 9: The Trinity Methodist Church located at Ellis Road here will hold a trunk sale in conjunction with Resource Sharing Day on Labour’s Day (May 1).
According to a press release, the stalls for the sale are open to charitable organisations as well as individuals, and participants can book stalls for the morning (9am to 1pm), afternoon (1pm to 5pm), or full-day sessions (9am to 5pm).
Anyone with a surplus of unused items is welcome to provide and donate with profits from the sales to be used for the activities’ expenses and remaining goods will be distributed to non-profitable organisations and families in need.
Seminars and workshops will also be held in Mandarin at Chapel of the Good Samaritan which includes a seminar on resource recycling from 10am to 11.30am and workshop on environmental protection handicrafts taking place at 2pm to 4pm.
Entry to the seminar and workshop will be free and walk-ins are welcome.
