KUCHING, April 9: An adverse weather warning has been issued for Miri (Telang Usan and Marudi) and Limbang until 4pm today.
According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia), the warning was issued at 1.45pm today.
Miri and Limbang are expected to experience thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds.
“A warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with an intensity of rain exceeding 20 mm/hour that is close to or expected to occur for more than an hour.
“A thunderstorm warning is a short-term warning valid for a period not exceeding six hours for a single issue,” said the department. — DayakDaily
