KUCHING, Sept 2: Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing and Serian MP Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem have been reappointed to their posts as the Prime Minister of Malaysia’s Special Envoys.
The Prime Minister’s Office in a statement said that the Cabinet meeting held yesterday (Sept 1) has agreed to reappoint Tiong as the Special Envoy to China and Riot as the Special Envoy to Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
The roles will see Tiong and Riot tasked with strengthening bilateral ties between the countries, particularly in terms of commerce, trade and investments. — DayakDaily
