KUCHING, March 14: Thunderstorms and heavy rain with strong winds are expected to occur in Sarawak later this afternoon until tonight and potentially continue until early morning tomorrow (March 15).
In a Facebook post at 12.30pm today, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said that based on analysis of weather models, the weather conditions in Peninsular Malaysia are expected to be less rainy and may result in warmer temperatures than usual, especially in the northern states of the Peninsular until March 20, 2023.
“However, thunderstorms and heavy rain with strong winds are still expected to occur in the interior and western areas of Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak in the afternoon until the night and potentially continue until the early morning,” said the department.
The department advised the public to refer to its website and all official MetMalaysia social media platforms and download the myCuaca application for the latest weather reports and forecasts. — DayakDaily
