KUCHING, April 24: Thunderstorms are expected in Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sibu, Mukah and Bintulu.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) released a notice at 11.45am to alert the public of the possible weather change.
The notice is valid until 3pm today.
The department said a warning issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with rain intensity exceeding 20mm/hr or is expected to occur for longer than an hour. — DayakDaily
