KUCHING, April 24: Chung Hua Middle School No 1 Alumni Association will be holding a Chinese music orchestra concert titled “Exchange Melodies” at the Chung Hua Middle School No 3 assembly hall on June 17.
According to a press statement, the concert, which aims to promote Chinese culture and enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the public, will feature a line-up of performances including choir singing, pipa solo, flute solo, ‘yang qin’ performance, and Chinese orchestra ensemble.
Additionally, Chinese instrumentalists from Singapore will also be participating in the event to exchange musical experiences.
Co-organisers of the concert are Chung Hua Middle School No 1 Chinese Orchestra, Oriental Traditional Orchestra Kuching, Nan Yen Folk Orchestra, Kenwy Music and Arts Academy, and Bearamos Music Centre.
Regular tickets are priced at RM30 each while VIP tickets cost RM50 each. Tickets may be purchased at Life Cafe in Padungan, Brighton Square, or Train Terrace, and the Chung Hua Middle School No 1 Alumni Association Secretary’s Office (CHMS 1) in Pending.
