KUCHING, Dec 23: A thunderstorm warning was issued for 16 districts in Sarawak until 9pm today.
Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), in an advisory notice issued at 5pm, said the affected districts are Kuching, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Tanjung Manis, Daro, Matu, Dalat, Bintulu, Tatau, Sebauh, Miri, Subis, Beluru, and Marudi.
The department said the forecasted weather conditions include heavy rainfall and strong wind.
