Tengku Hassanal wraps up first day in Kuching with State banquet

KUCHING, Jan 16: The Regent of Pahang, Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah wrapped up the first day of his working visit to Kuching by attending a State banquet.

The banquet, which was held at Pullam Hotel tonight, was attended by Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his deputies Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, and Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.

According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), around 400 guests attended the banquet, where they were entertained by singing, dancing, and traditional music performances under the Sarawak Arts Council (MSS).


Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts and Minister for Youth, Sport and Entrepreneur Development Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and Minister of Food Industry, Commodity, and Regional Development Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom were among those present.

Earlier today, Tengku Hassanal visited Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (Petros) at Icom Square, Sarawak Energy Berhad (Sarawak Energy) at Jalan Isthmus, and the Borneo Cultures Museum (BCM).
