KUCHING, Feb 10: Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (Tegas) has announced that it will sponsor flights and accommodation for Sarawakian students selected for the LaunchX Programme.
The programme is a 3+2 months university startup accelerator programme that turns validated ideas into fundable startups.
It is an equity-free, no-strings-attached programme for budding entrepreneurs to help them grow and succeed.
According to a news report from the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, Deputy Minister of Urban Planning, Land Administration, and Environment Datuk Len Talif Salleh said the sponsorship is part of Tegas’ effort through its partnership with Sunway Innovation Labs (iLabs).
Len Talif, who is also Tegas chairman, also encouraged local universities to promote the programme to their students.
The 2023 LaunchX programme is a collaborative programme between Tegas, through its Tegas Digital Village and Digital Innovation Hub with Sunway Innovation Labs (iLabs) at Sunway University (iLabs Foundry). — DayakDaily
