KUCHING, Dec 14: A teacher has been ordered by the Sessions Court here today to enter his defence on a charge of raping an underage student last year.

In his ruling at the end of the prosecution’s case, Judge Jason Juga said the prosecution had succeeded in proving a prima facie case against Muhaini Bojeng, 52.

Jason then fixed Jan 23, 2019, for Muhaini Bojeng to enter his defence.

The accused allegedly committed the offence under sub-section 376(2) of the Penal Code and subsection 376(1) of the same Code for raping his 14-year-old student in August 2017, between 12.30pm and 2pm and also on Sept 14, 2017, at around 11.40am.

Both incidents were said to have happened in a car in two different parking lots in Siburan. — DayakDaily
