KUCHING, April 19: A male teacher has claimed trial to four counts of sexual charges committed against two minor male students in the same school.
The teacher Mohamad Musa Eden who is teaching at a special school in SMK Datuk Patinggi Haji Abdul Gapor, has been charged with asking the two boys to exhibit their bodies, making one boy touching the other, making the boys commit anal intercourse against each other and making child pornography.
He has been allegedly to have committed the acts involving two 17-year-old boys at a PAV room of the said school, at about 12.30pm on July 12, 2017.
The first charge has been made under Section 15(a)(ii) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 and punishable under Section 15 of the same Act, to be read together with Section 16 of the same Act for non-physically sexually assaulting the children.
He is also charged under Section 14(b) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 and punishable under Section 14 of the same Act and read together with Section 16 of the same Act for making the boys committing anal intercourse.
At the same time, he is charged under Section 15(f) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 and punishable under Section 15 of the same Act and read together with Section 16 of the same Act for making the boys engaging in sexual activity.
The last charge brought against him is Section 5 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 and read together with Section 16 of the same Act for engaging children to make child pornography.
He pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
Kuching Sessions Court Judge Marutin Pagan fixed April 30 for the mention of the case. — DayakDaily
