KUCHING, Aug 2: SUPP Bumiputera Bureau lays claim on the party’s three Bumiputera seats of Mambong, Opar and Engkilili.
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Bumiputera Bureau chairman Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem reiterated his support on the bureau’s stance of getting back the three seats before the upcoming 12th State Election (PRN12).
Riot, who is also the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to East Asia with the status of a full minister urged the members of the party, especially those from Mambong, Opar, Engkilili and Simanggang to work diligently for the party’s full victory in its four traditional Bumiputera state constituencies.
He also called on the grassroots of the party to fully support the potential candidates shortlisted a few days ago by the bureau while he officiated at the launching of the party’s Mambong operation room and election machinery earlier today.
During the launching ceremony, Andrew Victor Nub, Jimson Jium and Ahkim Sarok were introduced as potential candidates shortlisted for the Mambong seat by the bureau.
As such, SUPP Mambong branch chairwoman Datin Jennifer Alice Chee Moinie revealed that the branch members are all set to face the challenges of PRN12.
