KUCHING, Nov 28: Two St Joseph’s International School, Kuching (SJIS) scored remarkable achievements in Cambridge International AS Level June 2024 series of Cambridge exams.
According to a press release today, in the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award Ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur on Nov 29, David Sim Shi Wei achieved the prestigious Top in the World Cambridge International AS Level award in Chemistry.
This accolade places Sim among the best young chemists globally.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Kho Kai Seng has earned the Cambridge International AS Level High Achievement Award in Information Technology that acknowledges his excellence and commitment to the field of information technology (IT).
Principal of SJIS Kuching, Br Robert Teoh, said that they are immensely proud of Sim and Kho for their achievements as it is a reflection of the hard work and dedication that both students and teachers invest in every day.
“These accolades reinforce our commitment to providing a high-quality education and nurturing the potential of every student,” he said.
On the same note, SJIS Kuching chief executive officer Christopher Chua expressed great satisfaction in celebrating the exceptional achievements of their students.
He noted that these honours are a true reflection of the students’ dedication, hard work, and remarkable talent, alongside the steadfast support of the faculty.
