SIBU, Sept 6: Sibu Rural District Council (SRDC) is closing its main office temporarily after few of its staff were found to have close contact with Covid-19 positive cases.
Its chairman Sempurai Petrus Ngelai in a statement said the closure will take place from Sept 7 to 10 to allow for sanitisation work.
“All staff who have close contact with said members of staff must do PCR swab test by Sept 7,” he said.
In the meantime, Sempurai advised members of the public dealing with his council services to always observe the standard operating procedures (SOPs). – DayakDaily
