KUCHING, Mar 17: Punters will have to take a break from betting their monies as COVID-19 has also prompted gambling companies to temporary ceased operations in Malaysia.
In compliance with the Movement Control Order (MCO) announced by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin yesterday, Sports Toto Malaysia Sdn Bhd in a statement said they will temporary cease operations from March 18 to 31.
“There will be no Toto draws on March 18, 21, 22, 25, 28 and 28. Our head office, sales office and sales outlets will be closed nationwide during this period,” the statement said.
Advance draw tickets for the affected draws are rendered null and void.
Meanwhile, customers who have purchased advance draw tickets for the affected dates may proceed to any sales outlet to get a refund after the end of the MCO.
“No prize claims will be processed during this period. Customers can come back to prize claiming at the end of the MCO.
“However, punters were reminded that there will be no refund issued after May 31,” the statement added. — DayakDaily
