KUCHING, March 17: Rumours of first death related to Covid-19 in Kuching have been spreading like wild fire through social media platform Whatapps since this afternoon.
However, the Ministry of Health and State Disaster Management Committee have yet to issue an official statement regarding this matter.
According to Sinchew Daily Sarawak, the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) has been alerted and investigations are ongoing to verify and response to the report on the first Covid-19 death rumours.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Health (MoH) is expected to hold press conference at 5pm today to address this matter with further details.— DayakDaily
