Special containers now used to store Covid-19 bodies at Sg Buloh Hospital

KUCHING, May 17: Ministry of Health (MOH) has disclosed special containers are now used to store Covid-19 bodies at Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

According to MOH in a statement posted in its social media (Facebook) page today, in Sungai Buloh Hospital, the remains of Covid-19 cases were entrusted to management of  the Medical Forensic Department.

“The department has provided a special container as an additional storage for positive Covid-19 remains,” it said.

The ministry added as of today, six new fatalities were also reported in the hospital.

On the same note, MOH revealed more than 80 per cent of Covid-19 infection in the country occurred among the elderly and those who suffer from more than one chronic disease or comorbidity.

It explained most of those who are infected get it from their closest family members.
