BINTULU, March 19: Six vehicles parked in a lot at a plant in Samalaju Industrial Park were destroyed in a fire yesterday (March 18).
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Samalaju responded to the emergency at 4.35pm and swiftly mobilised a team of firefighters to the scene.

Upon arrival, the operation commander conducted a size-up and immediately worked to contain the blaze, preventing it from spreading to other vehicles using a hose and water from a nearby fire hydrant.
Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire by 4.55pm. The operation concluded after ensuring there were no remaining ignition sources and that the site was safe.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported. — DayakDaily
