KUCHING, March 19: A one-storey house in Tabuan Laru was severely damaged after a fire broke out after midnight on Wednesday.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Tabuan Jaya responded to the emergency at 12.23am and immediately dispatched a team of firefighters to the scene.

According to the operation commander, the fire entirely engulfed the living room and three bedrooms. The overall damage to the house is estimated at 60 per cent.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze using two hoses, drawing water from a nearby fire hydrant.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported. — DayakDaily
