Shabudin appointed as Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Dept

KUCHING, July 6: Tasek Gelugor MP Datuk Shabudin Yahya has been appointed Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law).

The Prime Minister’s Department in a press statement today said the appointment of Shabudin was in accordance with Article 43A clause (1) of the Federal Constitution whereby the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has exercised his power to appoint Shabudin as a deputy minister.

It said Shabudin’s appointment is to replace Datuk Eddin Syazlee Shith who is transferred to be the Deputy Works Minister.

The Prime Minister’s Department said Shabudin’s swearing in ceremony will be held today (July 6) before the King at Istana Negara.—DayakDaily
