Seven more localities and premises placed under lockdown

KUCHING, June 17: Seven localities in Pakan, Bintulu, Sibu, Betong, and Kanowit are subjected to the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) announced by the State Disaster Management Committee today.

According to SDMC, for Rumah Empi in Tanjong Lelengau of Pakan, Shem Lee workers quarters and Kemena Holdings workers quarter both in Bintulu, the EMCO implementation starts today (June 17) until July 3, 2021.

In Betong and Simunjan, EMCO will be imposed on Rumah Dana, Nanga Tebalau and Kampung Munggu Sabun, starting on Friday (June 18) until July 1, 2021, respectively,


For Rumah Empauk anak Manggi in Pulau Dudong, Sibu and Rh Kubu in Nanga Tada, Kanowit, EMCO will start Saturday (June 19) until July 2, 2021.

At the same time, SDMC also announced the end of EMCO implemented in 11 localities throughout the State.

For Rumah Mujah anak Atin of Mile 12 of Bintulu-Miri road in Bintulu; Rumah Mabong anak Juwat and Rumah Albert anak Mejang of Sungai Stam Rasan in Tubau, Sebauh; a rented room above My Rojak shop in Medan Assyakirin, Bintulu and Rumah Asim anak Anyi of Mile 12 Bintulu-Miri road in Bintulu, EMCO has ended on June 15, 2021.

The EMCO imposed on Kampung Pisang squatters of Jalan Samalaju in Bintulu; Rumah Garai in Sungai Minus Jakar of Sarikei; Lepang Sayat in Engkelili of Sri Aman; Woodman Plantation Sdn Bhd workers’ quarters in Semanok Estate, Tatau; Gabong Trading Camp workers’ quarters in Tatau, and Rumah Abong anak Madang of Nanga Tekalit in Tatau ended today.

Meanwhile, for Rumah Sigah anak Lak in Sg Baoh Burak of Dalat, the EMCO implemented will end on Friday (June 18, 2021). – DayakDaily.
