KUCHING, Aug 13: Seminars, workshops, courses, training, conferences, talks, briefings and programmes in Sarawak are now allowed to take place, subject to standard operating procedures (SOP) where attendance is limited to 50 per cent of the premises capacity or a maximum of 100 people only.
This applies only to areas under Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP).
According to the National Security Council (NSC), meetings are permitted, subject to the SOPs currently in force and are not allowed to exceed the 50 per cent capacity of the respective premises or the maximum attendance of 100 people only.
“However, meetings are encouraged to be implemented via video conferencing.
“For in-service training, it is only permitted in the area of the training institution while MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions) is only permitted to be held virtually.
“Hybrid implementation of physical and virtual presence is highly encouraged,” it said. — DayakDaily
