SEB contributes RM1.1 mil to Sarawak Disaster Fund

KUCHING, Sept 3: Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) has contributed a total of RM1.1 million to the Sarawak Disaster Fund.

According to the Chief Minister Office (CMO) in a statement today, SEB’s donation included its centenary celebration budget of RM1 million and staff contribution of RM100,000.

A mock cheque for the contribution was handed over to the Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia, Petra Jaya today, by SEB Senior Vice President for Corporate Services Siti Aisah Adenan.

Also present were SEB chairman Datuk Amar Abdul Hamed Sepawi, Group Chief Executive Officer Datu Sharbini Suhaili, and Senior Vice President for Health, Safety, Security and Environment Marconi Madai. —DayakDaily
