Team A was deployed to the farm area, while Group B was stationed at the site where the miring ritual was performed, which was the last known location where the victim was believed to have gone missing. A search within a 2km radius yielded no clues.

At 2.20pm, the SAR team conducted a search at the A2 and B2 sector areas within a 1km radius from the control post.

Later, at 4pm, Teams A and B reached the control post and waited to be briefed by the police, and at 4.10pm, the SAR operation was officially called off following discussions among all involved agencies, pending any new leads.

On June 15, Bomba received an emergency call about Rudy’s disappearance at 3.50pm.

Based on information obtained from the victim’s family, Rudy left the house at around 5am on June 14 to look for frogs at Sungai Asau and Sungai Puyu behind the longhouse. — DayakDaily
