KUCHING, Aug 14: Sarawak Dayak Graduates Association (SDGA) held a ‘Randau’ session with SME Corp and Tekun Nasional to offer various products and programmes for micro to medium-scale businesses.
SDGA president Gary Ningkan, in a statement today, said the session, held on Aug 13 at SDGA’s headquarters Invent Space, comprises a series of programmes in the form of mini-seminars, discussions, and networking sessions on various topics, particularly entrepreneurship and new technology.
“We hope we can encourage more SDGA members to explore entrepreneurship to become job creators and to play a part in realising Sarawak’s 2030 aspirations,” he said.
The Randau session was attended by 58 participants comprising members and young and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The session saw presentations from SME Corp State director Faiz Ramzi Sutarji and Tekun Nasional executive Mohd Iskandar Azahari, with the attendance of Board Member of SME Corp Bell Agan and Member of Board of Trustee Tekun Nasional Mikai Mandau.
During the session, various products and programmes for micro to medium-scale businesses were offered, namely loan programmes from Tekun and matching grants, including loans, from SME Corp. — DayakDaily
