KUCHING, July 28: The next edition of the Sarawakku Sayang (SKS) 2026 Programme will be held in Sarikei beginning Aug 7-9 at the Sarikei Sports Complex.
According to TVS, the programme will be officiated by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at 10.30am on Aug 8.
More than just a platform for government agency exhibitions, the programme is also an important medium for assessing the level of understanding of the people towards the Sarawak government’s development policies and directions, in addition to strengthening the role of implementing agencies in delivering services more effectively.
Through this approach, the public also can meet directly with heads of departments and agencies to obtain further explanations on various government initiatives and services that may previously have been less known or difficult to access.
The event also features an exhibition space where various government agencies are gathered under one roof, allowing the public to obtain information and deal with the relevant departments more conveniently.
The SKS Sarikei event also boasts various side activities including the Sarawak Cultural Night, Konsert Rakyat, and e-Contest which offers various attractive prizes to visitors. — DayakDaily
