KUCHING, Jan 6: A motorcycle workshop located at Jalan Tiang Soon Height in Sarikei caught fire on Saturday night.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarikei received the emergency call around 11:35pm and a team of firefighters was immediately despatched to the scene.
According to Bomba Sarikei, they managed to bring the fire under control within ten minutes and prevent it from spreading but 30 per cent of motorcycle spare parts stored on the premises were destroyed by the fire.
Firefighters collected more information and performed an overhaul operation before returning to the station. — DayakDaily
