KUCHING, May 11: Sarawak diving queen Datu Pandelela Rinong and her partner Nur Dhabitah Sabri have managed to bag the eighth gold for Malaysia in the Women’s 10m Synchronised Diving category at the Hanoi SEA Games.

According to news outlet The Star, following the outstanding performance, Malaysia has won all eight gold medals in the diving competition.

In a social media post, Pandelela said that it was not an easy task and attributed the good performance to team effort.

“Four days of competitions weren’t easy but we delivered as promised. (We) couldn’t have done it without the teamwork, trust and support for each other.

“I appreciate those who came to support us on the last day of the diving event. I’m very proud of the Malaysian Diving Team,” said Pandelela. — DayakDaily
